Set off for a pilgrimage that has been practiced by believers for many centuries. Visit the Sanctuary of the Precious Blood of Christ in Ludbreg and bring your prayers, intentions and needs to the Lord. The Eucharistic Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held every first Friday of the month from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Since the Pope’s confession in Ludbreg, many believers have made pilgrimages for centuries, some of whom have testified about the miraculous healings of the Holy Relic.

Visit Ludbreg, use your time to explore the sacred heritage of the baroque city of Varaždin, which was known as the “city of the bell towers” and the “city of angels”.

In the Varaždin Cathedral you can pray at the altar of St. Ignatius, the founder of Ignatian spiritual exercises. Visit the statue of Gregory of Nin, which is located in front of the Franciscan church of St. John the Baptist and pray in the interior of this Baroque church.

An easy walk through the center of town and you will reach the parish church of St. Nicholas the Bishop, which is the oldest parish of Varaždin area dedicated to the patron saint of the city. In his church is a relic of the skeleton of St. Adeodatus the Martyr.

Beside the mentioned churches in the center of Varaždin there are numerous parks, among which is recommended to visit the park of John Paul II.
